News - Будущее Лиама Лоусона в команде Racing Bulls висит на волоске

In an unexpected turn of events, Racing Bulls is on the verge of making a significant decision regarding Liam Lawson's future with the team as the 2027 Formula 1 season approaches. Reports suggest that the New Zealander, despite his commendable performance in 2026, might lose his seat to Bulgarian sensation, Nikola Tsolov. The potential reshuffle comes amid Lawson’s perceived past underperformance after being dropped by Red Bull in 2025 following two disappointing races. David Croft has highlighted that the move to replace Lawson with the young F2 star, Nikola Tsolov, seems 'more and more likely.' Tsolov is on the brink of clinching the Formula 2 championship, making him a hot commodity for F1 teams looking to infuse fresh talent. Meanwhile, his competitor, Rafael Camara, is set to transition into Formula 1 with Haas, leaving Tsolov as the clear frontrunner. Racing Bulls' CEO, Peter Bayer, has emphasized the team's commitment to nurturing new talents, directly indicating Lawson's potentially limited time with the team. Despite redeeming himself in Racing Bulls after a rocky discharge from Red Bull, Lawson's future looks increasingly uncertain. With Tsolov's anticipated F2 victory, the chances of Lawson retaining his seat grow slimmer, spotlighting the competitive and uncertain nature of Formula 1 racing careers.
