🇺🇸 Visa Bulletin — July 2025: What You Need to Know

Published by the U.S. Department of State, the Visa Bulletin outlines when green card applicants can proceed with their cases based on visa availability. Each month brings movement in employment-based (EB) and family-based (FB) categories. Here's a breakdown of the July 2025 Visa Bulletin and what it means for applicants.

🔹 Key Terms to Understand

  • Final Action Date: The date when green cards can actually be issued.
  • Date for Filing: The earliest date an applicant can file documents with USCIS (only used if USCIS allows it for that month).

👉 For July 2025, USCIS will follow the Final Action Dates chart for employment-based categories.

📌 What This Means for You

  • If your priority date is earlier than the listed Final Action Date, you may now be eligible to complete your green card process.
  • EB-1 remains current for most of the world – this is excellent news for multinational executives and researchers.
  • EB-2 and EB-3 for India and China continue to see slow but steady forward movement, reflecting backlogs.

  1. Check your I-140 or I-130 priority date.
