The metro in Yerevan has been shut down because of the rally planned in Republic Square at 6 p.m., opposition National Committee has said. "This step is obviously aimed at hindering the participation of our compatriots in the rally to be held today at 6 p.m. in Republic Square. We ask our compatriots to ensure their participation in the meeting, taking into account the fact that the metro is not working," the announcement states.
