Auto Gallery has announced the launch of its new sub-brand, 'Auto Gallery Recharge,' which represents a comprehensive network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across Armenia. Customers who purchase electric vehicles from Auto Gallery showrooms after April 10 will receive free charging services throughout the vehicle's warranty period. This significant initiative, led by the company's founder Gevorg Gevorgyan, seeks to address the essential need for dependable EV charging infrastructure nationwide. Gevorgyan emphasized that the new sub-brand will provide free charging benefits that last up to five years for commercial vehicles and six years for passenger cars, ensuring convenience for customers. The charging stations will be equipped with a state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), providing stable and reliable power independent of network load. By 2026, the first phase aims to establish approximately 90 fast-charging stations, each offering a capacity of 160 kW/h. The number of stations is expected to double by 2027. The charging network will offer extensive geographic coverage, extending beyond the capital Yerevan to major cities such as Dilijan, Gyumri, Aparan, Vanadzor, Sisian, Kapan, Armavir, and Martuni, as well as along the North-South highway. This ensures that no location in Armenia is more than 50 kilometers away from a charging station, facilitating smooth travel between cities and regions. Future plans include building stations capable of simultaneously charging 8 to 20 vehicles, minimizing wait times and maximizing customer comfort. Current Auto Gallery customers or those who have previously purchased vehicles can use the network by paying standard tariff rates. Additionally, the charging stations welcome electric vehicles from other brands. The initiative begins today, with the first station's opening planned for July. Founded in 2023 and led by a team with over a decade of experience, Auto Gallery acts as the official representative for IM Motors, Saic Maxus, CATL, and Scania in Armenia.
