by Lilit March 10, 2026

The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced that 30 individuals have been arrested in recent days on charges of espionage, collaboration, or carrying out operational tasks for the US and Israel. According to Tasnim, the ministry described one of the arrested individuals as a foreigner who secretly transmitted security information to two Persian Gulf states, which in turn passed it on to the US and Israel. The ministry referred to the other 19 individuals as 'field and media agents involved with anti-government elements and with ties to Israel.'
