

The Syunik Regional Prosecutor's Office concluded its annual review for 2025, which took place under the guidance of Chief Prosecutor Anna Vardapetyan on February 21, 2026. The comprehensive evaluation was participated in by a roster of prominent officials, reflecting on the challenges faced and objectives met throughout the year. The gathering emphasized an array of statistical data, noting that 2363 new criminal proceedings were initiated, with 446 cases sent to court. A significant part of the discussion revolved around the achievements in safeguarding state assets, marked by the restitution of properties and compensatory actions resulting in over 101 million Armenian drams recovery. These efforts underscore the proactive measures taken to ensure compliance and accountability within the jurisdiction.
