News - Residents of Noratus block Gavar-Sevan highway, demand Pashinyan's resignation

Residents from Noratus in Armenia have taken to the streets by closing the Gavar-Sevan highway, joining the growing call for Nikol Pashinyan's resignation. Concerned about the fate of Artsakh, citizens are blocking various streets across Yerevan. Despite the use of force by the police, citizens persist in their acts of disobedience, chanting slogans such as "Artsakh" and "Nikol, traitor." They are also urging others to join the movement to save Artsakh. Red beret police units have resorted to harsh tactics, arresting protesters and even assaulting them, including those already in custody. Many citizens have sustained injuries during these detentions. Since this morning, numerous opposition activists have been carrying out actions of civil disobedience in the Armenian capital. Large-scale protests have started in Yerevan amid the latest Azerbaijani military aggression unleashed against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on Tuesday. People demand an answer from the Armenian authorities for their inaction in the Artsakh issue. Everyone emphasizes that there is genocide in Artsakh today, and therefore immediate action must be taken.
