Extended Power Outage in Yerevan and Surrounding Areas

by Lilit Jan. 20, 2026

On November 21, a planned power outage will occur in multiple neighborhoods in Yerevan and its surroundings, as part of an upgrade to electrical systems by the Armenian Electric Network. As part of these efforts, electricity will be interrupted from 11 AM to 5 PM. Areas such as Nor Marash, Arabkir, Ajapnyak, Malatia-Sebastia, and parts of Armavir will be impacted during this period. This interruption is necessary for safe upgrades and maintenance procedures. Consumers are being urged to take necessary precautions and contact the network for any immediate issues or concerns at 1-80 or 0 8000 0 180. The Armenian Electric Network is committed to maintaining transparency and ensuring minimal disruption while enhancing the electricity grid in the region.
