NATO anticipates establishing an enhanced partnership agreement with Armenia by next year.

NATO aims to finalize a new partnership framework agreement with Armenia next year, according to Assistant Secretary General Radmila Šekerinska. In a message shared on Platform X, Šekerinska reflected on her discussions with Armenia's Minister of Defense, Suren Papikyan, regarding Armenian defense sector reforms. She lauded Armenia's ongoing contributions to NATO's Kosovo Force (KFOR) and reaffirmed NATO's commitment to supporting Armenia's reform initiatives. Šekerinska conveyed optimism that a new partnership document could be in place by next year, aligning with broader mutual security interests.
