News - Baku says negotiations in Yevlakh could lead to conclusion of peace agreement with Yerevan

Azerbaijani Presidential Representative for Special Assignments, Elchin Amirbekov, announced on Thursday that negotiations in Yevlakh could potentially lead to the conclusion of a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, RIA Novosti reports. According to Amirbekov, the Azerbaijani side has already presented a draft peace agreement to Armenia and is now awaiting their response. Amirbekov clarified that the agreement's focus is not on the repatriation of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, as this is considered an internal matter of Azerbaijan.
