

YEREVAN, December 15. /ARKA/. EU member states expressed support for the democratic development of Armenia, its resilience, and countering hybrid threats. This was reported by the press service of the RA MFA following the meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and the members of the EU Council of Foreign Ministers in Brussels. According to the press release, in the context of regional events, EU member states expressed support for the process of unblocking communications and for efforts aimed at further strengthening peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. 'Participants noted with satisfaction the significant results in developing the Armenia–EU partnership and exchanged views on upcoming tasks,' the Armenian foreign ministry said. Minister Mirzoyan highly appreciated the support and consensus achieved in implementing the Strategic Partnership Program between Armenia and the EU and various joint initiatives. Mirzoyan participated in the meeting in a working breakfast format at the invitation of EU partners. The discussion was attended by the Vice-President of the European Commission, the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, as well as the heads and representatives of the foreign ministries of EU member states.
