

YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. The volume of the services sector in Armenia for January–October 2025 amounted to 3,332,456.5 million drams (current prices), up 10.8% compared with January–October 2024, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic. In October 2025 the indicator stood at 352,916.8 million drams, up 7.9% year on year, and compared with September of the same year it declined by 2%. In the overall structure of the services sector, the largest share (32.4%) is accounted for by financial and insurance activities, with the volume of this segment for the first ten months of the year totaling 1,078,314.6 million drams, up 15.4% compared with the ten months of last year. The share of information and communications accounts for 20.3% (volume 678,396.4 million drams, up 19.5%), the share of transport 11.4% (volume 379,615.1 million drams, down 2.6%), the share of accommodation and food service activities 9.1% (volume 304,567.0 million drams, up 4.3%), and culture, entertainment and recreation 7.9% (volume 263,794.6 million drams, up 3.7%). The share of professional, scientific and technical activities is 4.5% (volume 149,468.8 million drams, up 9.1%), health and social care for the population 4.4% (volume 146,895.1 million drams, up 10.2%), real estate activities 3.6% (volume 119,236.1 million drams, up 10.7%), administrative and support activities 3.4% (volume 112,148.8 million drams, up 13.1%), and education 2.2% (volume 64,918.0 million drams, up 2.3%).
