Michael Harms, the managing director of the German Eastern Business Association, thanked the prime minister for the meeting and noted that German businessmen are interested in cooperation with Armenia and that today’s meeting is a good opportunity to become acquainted with the available opportunities and prospects. In his remarks, Prime Minister Pashinyan stressed that the Government of the Republic of Armenia is interested in the steady development and expansion of economic ties with Germany, adding that recently a positive dynamic in trade volumes has been observed. Pashinyan also referred to reforms being implemented to improve the business environment in our country, the possibilities for investment in various sectors of the economy, as well as the prospects opening in the context of developments in the region.
