Counterpoint Research published the list of the world's most popular smartphones for the third quarter of 2025. For many years now, Apple's and Samsung's smartphones have dominated such rankings. This time, the situation remained unchanged. The top four spots were occupied by iPhone 16 series models. Note that the new iPhone 17 models entered the market at the end of the third quarter, and only the iPhone 17 Pro Max managed to enter the top ten. For Samsung, the best-selling model has become the budget Galaxy A16; its 5G variant took fifth place, while the 4G variant took ninth. The more affordable Galaxy A36 appeared in seventh place, edging out the more expensive Galaxy A56. Tech coverage is produced with Idram's support.
