5G network availability in Armenia is already a reality today. Ucom has completed the deployment of next-generation connectivity across the country, making it available in 48 of Armenia's 49 cities and hundreds of settlements, as well as at the Mayer Mountain Resort, along the Yerevan–Dilijan highway, and at the Bagratashen, Bavra and Agarak border checkpoints. Today more than 94 percent of Armenia's population have the opportunity to access fast and reliable mobile Internet, connecting to the digital world. Following the works started in November 2024, in just one year Ucom has made 5G accessible in all major settlements of the country. “Expanding 5G for us is not just technological progress, but an important step to provide residents of Armenia with modern, fast and stable connectivity. We kept our promise: in just one year we managed to ensure 5G coverage for more than 94 percent of the country's population, making it a truly nationwide technological project. Upgrading the infrastructure and introducing innovative solutions will continue to be among our main priorities. We believe that reliable and fast Internet is an opportunity for education, work, health care and business,” said Ucom's CEO Ralph Yirikyan. Thanks to the ongoing, wide-scale modernization of the infrastructure, Ucom's subscribers receive not only faster speeds but also stable and reliable connections that meet international standards. 5G technology opens a new phase of digital life, where it is possible to have high-quality video calls for work and study, transfer large amounts of data in real time, and fully take advantage of the next generation of smart solutions.
