Brooklyn Beckham's in-laws are reportedly settling a lawsuit for more than $75,000 after their pit bull attacked the housekeeper multiple times, RadarOnline.com can reveal. Mileydis Morejon said she was set upon by Houdini, the family's pit bull, who she says was trying to rip at her clothes at the family's palatial $106 million home in Palm Beach. Morejon sued the parents of Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz — Nelson and Claudia — alleging that the attacks occurred on several occasions, including one instance where she had to fend Houdini off with a vacuum cleaner. In another incident, she alleged that she fell to the ground while attempting to escape after Houdini allegedly lunged at and attempted to attack her, according to the lawsuit. In her complaint filed in a Palm Beach court, she claimed that Houdini had a vicious nature, a vicious disposition, and/or a propensity to attack or attempt attacks, which was known or should have been known by Nicola’s parents. She added that the alleged attacks occurred without provocation, suddenly and without warning. Morejon was seeking more than $75,000 in damages and claimed that Nelson and Claudia were negligent for failing to prevent the attacks and for not securing the dog in a cage, as well as for inadequate dog training. The Peltz family responds to the lawsuit. She claimed to have suffered bodily injury and resulting physical and mental pain and suffering, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, and loss of earnings, plus further incurred hospital bills, medical bills, and/or other bills as a result of the injuries. In Nelson's defense, he claimed the dog bites never occurred. He said Morejon had previously interacted with the dog and routinely encountered and cleaned up after Houdini. Despite denying all the allegations, the Peltzes have now proposed a settlement with their former housekeeper, to which she has yet to respond.
