The Investigative Committee reports that during the pre-trial investigation initiated by the Syunik Regional Investigative Department, there were apparent factual data that the road construction company, between August 11 and 13, 2025, without the proper permit, illegally operated the sand quarry on the hill that is the historic-cultural monument known as Mkhitar Sparapet, extracting a volume of about 5,000 cubic meters of a sandy-silty mountainous mass. As a result of the investigative and evidentiary actions carried out during the pre-trial investigation, damages to the state amounting to 6 million drams have been recovered.
