Chen said that China is ready to participate in the aforesaid work and help the Armenian people to improve their well-being. "We [i.e. Armenia] are ready to closely collaborate with Armenia in the energy sector, we are interested in collaborating in the atomic energy sector," the Chinese diplomat said. He noted that China is implementing a project for the construction of a photovoltaic plant in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, and that this plant will soon be put into operation. "Thus, Chinese solar plants will become an important part of Armenia's energy system," Chen added.
