Past daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: It turns out from the results of a recent survey conducted by the American International Republican Institute (IRI) in Armenia that according to our citizens, France is the most important political partner of Armenia; 59% of respondents think so. It is followed by Iran with 58%, then the USA with 48%, India with 41%, and the EU with 34%. 33% of the survey participants considered Russia an important political partner [of Armenia], and according to 30%, that country is China. (…) Nevertheless, it must be admitted that the policy of the RA authorities also has given its results. The "Republic Square" Telegram channel also touched on the topic, reminding that, after all, [Armenian PM Nikol] Pashinyan and his [political] team have been conducting anti-Russian domestic and foreign policy since 2018; in particular, with various media manipulations and thousands of fakes, they are attempting to carry out black PR against the RF [(Russian Federation)]. "The West has a network of hundreds of NGOs and other agents of influence in the RA, through which the lobbying of the West is carried out. Gradually, the Armenian society has begun to view France and the USA as important political partners of the RA. This is also due to the non-pro-Armenian resolution of the Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] issue, the number one culprit of which is Pashinyan and the CC [i.e. the ruling Civil Contract Party], but the incumbent authorities are attempting to create an opinion among RA citizens that the RF is to blame for it," the authors write, adding that the anti-Russian propaganda [in Armenia] is gradually giving its results, and Moscow must draw conclusions [from it] and take steps.
