At their meeting in Luxembourg, the foreign ministers of the European Union (EU) member countries will again discuss the possibility of providing Ukraine with new means of air defense, but such a decision is not guaranteed as funding from the EU European Peace Facility remains blocked, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said in Luxembourg Monday. They need to increase aid; it is the only possible solution from their side, Borrell said. They will discuss how to remove the ban on payments to the European Peace Facility and how to increase Ukraine's air defense capabilities, he added Borrell noted that the EU foreign ministers will listen to their Ukrainian colleague about the situation in Ukraine, and expressed hope that they will be able to make a decision.
