The U.S. Embassy in Lebanon has urged Americans in the country to leave “immediately,” VOA reported.The report said additional flights organized by the embassy for its citizens leaving Beirut will not continue indefinitely.On Oct. 12, two U.N. peacekeepers were wounded in a strike by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. UN Secretary-General António Guterres and several representatives of Western countries condemned the IDF attack. The UN peacekeeping force called it a “grave development” and said the safety of UN personnel and property must be guaranteed.European diplomatic chief Josep Borrell demanded an explanation from Israel.
