Armenia is not officially withdrawing its signature from the trilateral statement which was signed in 2020 by Moscow, Baku, and Yerevan and contributed to the establishment of a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. At the same time, however, no progress has been made for about a year and a half within the tripartite working group on unblocking communications in the region, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk stated, reports TASS. "Armenia is not officially withdrawing from the trilateral statement and is not withdrawing its signature. But at the same time, there has been almost no movement within the framework of the tripartite working group at the level of deputy prime ministers for two years already, or, let's say, at least a year and a half since last summer," Overchuk said on the air of Channel One television of Russia. The Russian deputy PM added that the unblocking of economic and transport corridors in the region is "possible only with the participation of Russia."
