A delegation led by Artur Yeroyan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, paid a working visit to Georgia on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Armenian defense ministry informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Yeroyan was received by Giorgi Matiashvili, Chief of the Georgian Defense Forces. The parties emphasized the continued development and expansion of cooperation between the two counties in the defense sector. Artur Yeroyan met also with Johnny Tatunashvili, the Deputy Chief of the Georgian Defense Forces and Chief of its General Staff. They discussed the prospects of cooperation between the Armenian and Georgian armies. Also, the Armenian delegation visited the National Defense Academy of Georgia, the training and assessment centers of the Military Training and Education Command, as well as the Sergeants Academy of Georgia.
