The reliability of data storage has an important place for the Armenian authorities in the matter of data digitization. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the plenary session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan Tuesday. Emphasizing the importance of the digitization process in general, Pashinyan noted that for him, first of all, it is the question of the flexibility of the transition from analog to digital data. Among them, it is the operation of the government, but the emphasis is on society in general. In other words, it is necessary to start from the convenience of people and businesses, not the other way around, he said According to Pashinyan, trust and security are the basis of this process. Not just the digitization of individual tasks, but the creation of services that will be responsible for the vitally important needs of the people. The Armenian PM stressed that reliable and complete data are needed for a successful transition, so that state services become fully transparent, simplify relations with state agencies, making them more convenient and safe. The central place in the process is the reliability of data storage, Pashinyan said, adding that ensuring reliability will enable various government institutions to rely on each other's data without the need for copying. The data will be stored in national sections and will be available in cross-border formats only upon request. According to the Armenian premier, this will help in the customs and tax processes, reduce administration, expenses, and ensure all requirements.
