Abkhazia has ratified the agreement with Russia "On recognition and enforcement of judicial and arbitration decisions in economic cases," Apsnypress reports. A total of 27 Abkhazian MPs voted in favor of ratifying this agreement, while two others abstained. This agreement is aimed at the mutual recognition and enforcement of the decisions of the courts and international commercial arbitrations in case of disputes that arise during the implementation of entrepreneurial and other economic activities. The provisions of this agreement apply also to court and arbitration decisions that have confirmed international agreements. The agreement will enter into force 30 days after receiving written notification through diplomatic channels of the completion of domestic procedures necessary for its entry into force.
