News - Protesters outside Armenia government building block road

The people protesting in front of the main building of the Armenian government have closed off the nearby Tigran Mets Avenue a little while ago. They are staging a sit-in. Several women and girls participating in the protest have sit on the aforesaid road. The police did not obstruct them in any way. Due to the current situation in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), numerous people have assembled outside the main building of the Armenian government since early morning, and they demand the Armenian government to protect Artsakh. Andranik Tevanyan, the head of the opposition Mother Armenia bloc, announced in the morning that a big rally will kick off at 7pm; but until then, he called for boycotting classes and holding a labor strike.
