"One year has passed since the violent explosion in Artsakh; a year full of pain, suffering, unspeakable difficulties. September 25, with its never-healing wounds, will forever remain a constant companion of us, the people of Artsakh. On that day, 238 Artsakh residents fell victim to the fire, while the fate of 22 is still unknown... Hundreds were severely injured and miraculously saved. Many still struggle to live fully. Among the casualties were Armenians who went through wars, faced death many times and survived due to fate, elderly people, children and women. Eternal homage to their memory, strength and courage to our long-suffering people..." wrote Berd newspaper of Artsakh’s Askeran city.
