Yeremyan Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality hosted Yiannis Saveriades, President of Casa College and KASA High School, a leader in the hospitality and service industry in Cyprus. Mr. Saveriades, accompanied by Aida Tigranyan, Director of Yeremyan Academy, toured the facility, familiarizing himself with its structure, educational programs, conditions created for students and technical equipment. During the visit, the two institutions shared their experience and discussed potential cooperation prospects and benefits. Mr. Saveriades also met with the Yeremyan Academy’s faculty and students. "I am very impressed with the Academy, particularly the interior design and the facilities provided for students. It is remarkable how they have integrated modern educational solutions within a building of historical significance. It is significant that the Academy offers young people opportunities for the development in this field. Our countries may not share a border, but we have many cultural similarities, which can serve as a bridge for effective cooperation in the fields of hospitality and education," said Yiannis Saveriades. He added that they would be happy to welcome talented Armenian students at their institution. “The Armenian community in Cyprus is quite large, and in addition to that, Cyprus provides comfort and opportunities for young students,” he said. Director of Yeremyan Academy, Aida Tigranyan, said that it had been a great honor for them when Mr. Saveriades expressed his desire to visit the Academy during his official trip to Armenia. "The Academy regularly hosts representatives from leading international educational institutions, but this is the first time we have a guest from Cyprus. This meeting is a wonderful opportunity to share experiences and outline potential cooperation between our countries and educational institutions, especially in the fields of hospitality and servic," she said. The parties agreed to begin negotiations and discussions on cooperation formats starting immediately and to meet again in December.
