Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Iva Petrova, head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission in Armenia, the PM’s office informs. The premier highlighted the importance of Armenia's cooperation with the IMF for the benefit of economic development and maintaining stability in the country. During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon Armenia's budgetary, monetary and currency policies, as well as its tax policy and administration. The IMF official, for her part, underscored the process of reforms in Armenia's financial sector, improvement of the investment climate, and some other domains in order to maintain economic activeness. In turn, the PM emphasized that maintaining macroeconomic stability and long-term economic development is a priority for the Armenia government, and that the respective measures and reforms will be consistent.
