Armenia’s trade with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has increased and continues to increase. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during the Second Global Armenian Summit Wednesday. "There is nothing surprising there, as we [i.e. Armenia] are a member of the EAEU. The EAEU market is more accessible for our business community than other markets," Pashinyan emphasized. The premier noted that the Armenian authorities have not set a task to reduce the amount of trade with the EAEU, but they have set a task to increase the amount of trade both in the EAEU and in other markets. "We have not set a task to reduce or break our trade ties with Russia [either]," Pashinyan added.
