The “Pan-Armenian Front” Movement of Armenia was carrying out another protest action, demanding the release of Armenian captives being held in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku, this time in front of the Russian embassy in Armenia. Ruzanna Stepanyan, a member of the aforesaid movement, stated that they are consistent in raising this issue at the embassies of various countries and international organizations in Armenia. Stepanyan emphasized that they will intensify their pressure on the Armenian government because they have information that by the end of the month, PM Nikol Pashinyan will go to New York to meet the Secretary General of the UN General Assembly. Ruzanna Stepanyan stated that 20 days ago she had delivered letters to the UN office in Armenia regarding the issue of Armenian missing persons and captives. Stepanyan added that, also, they addressed, with a letter, the international committee dealing with the issue of missing persons, which can visit Baku prisons and get clear information about how many Armenian prisoners of war are there.
