News - Frank Pallone: Additional USAID funding will help bolster Armenia's democracy

Congressman Frank Pallone has welcomed the efforts by the US administration to strengthen relations with Armenia. “Glad to see that the Biden-Harris Administration continues efforts to fortify relations with Armenia by doubling its aid package through USAID. This additional funding will help bolster Armenia's democracy and strengthen its economic and security independence,” Pallone wrote on X—formerly Twitter. The US and Armenia on Wednesday took an important step in their partnership by amending the joint development grant agreement, increasing the estimated United States Agency for International Development (USAID) contribution to Armenia from $120 million to $250 million and expanding the domains of cooperation and assistance.
