We have a large number of missing weapons after the 44-day war, and we have discussed the topic several times, this matter was discussed also at the Security Council. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Thursday’s cabinet session of the Armenian government, and noted that he has given instructions to the minister of internal affairs in this regard. "We have to review our methodology related to the search for weapons, illegal weapons and ammunition because the methodology we have been working with no longer meets the new challenges. As far as I understand, with the use of these new methods, we already have some not great success, but results, and with this method we are able to detect illegal weapons and ammunition. The number of legal guns in the country has also increased, and we've discussed before as well, and it's really a matter of choice here: to what extent legal guns should be tolerable by us? Now the opportunities to bring weapons [into Armenia], to acquire legal weapons [in the country] have increased," the Armenian PM added, in particular.
