The Murmansk city and Apatity town airports of Russia’s Murmansk Region have been temporarily closed due to the threat of Ukrainian drone attacks, reports SHOT television. According to SHOT, Murmansk region was attacked by three Ukrainian drones that entered the region from Arkhangelsk Region of Russia. The air defense forces managed to destroy two drones. Earlier, Russia's Federal Agency for Air Transport (Rosaviatsiya) reported that restrictions were imposed on Murmansk and Apatity airports as of 9:35am to ensure flight safety. A day ago, Governor Andrey Chibis had announced in a video message about a Ukrainian drone attack on Murmansk Region. According to him, the air defense on Wednesday shot down three drones over the skies of Murmansk Region. But due to these drone attacks, Rosaviatsiya was forced to close Murmansk and Apatity airports.
