Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: Cultural expert Haykuhi Muradyan says that the president of Azerbaijan himself is heading the appropriation of the Armenian cultural and spiritual heritage of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)]. Azerbaijanis have 2 targets: the statues of our heroes, the memorials of the victims of the genocide, the memorials of those who fell in the first [Karabakh] liberation war [in the early 1990s], and the Armenian cemeteries, especially the medieval ones, which testify that Armenians have lived here for centuries. If you remember, the enemy has occupied also the cemetery of Nerkin Hand settlement in Syunik [Province of Armenia], and people [there] are not only unable to visit the graves of their dead, but also to bury the dead. Yesterday we learned that they established a new cemetery in Nerkin Hand, where one burial was already performed.
