Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Director General of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Qu Dongyu, informs the PM’s office. The premier lauded the effective cooperation formed between the Armenian government and FAO, particularly in ensuring food security. Pashinyan emphasized the continued implementation of joint projects in agriculture and environment, and expressed his belief that the current visit of the ՖԱՕ Director General to Armenia will give a new impetus to the development of cooperation. In turn, Qu Dongyu noted that they had effective discussions with their Armenian government colleagues, discussed the progress of programs and the possibilities of implementing new initiatives. Also, the Director General of FAO emphasized that the goal of the implementation of new programs is to contribute to ensuring the food security of countries and solving the problems in this domain.
