News - Armenia economy minister to Sweden envoy: We are actively diversifying our export markets

Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on Tuesday received the Swedish ambassador to Armenia, Patrik Svensson, the Ministry of Economy of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. The minister emphasized the programs being implemented in Armenia by Sweden, as a reliable partner of Armenia, in various domains, which contribute to the continuation of economic reforms in Armenia. The expansion of Armenian-Swedish trade and economic relations, promotion of investments, and cooperation in various branches of the economy, particularly in agriculture, were discussed. "We [Armenia] are actively diversifying our export markets. And we hope that soon we will see Armenian agro-food products—such as wine, honey, tea—as well as textiles in your country," the economy minister noted. At the end of the meeting, the parties once again confirmed their readiness to develop Armenian-Swedish trade and economic cooperation.
