Some work is being done to return the Armenian captives from Azerbaijan. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Samvel Shahramanyan stated this in an interview with reporters Monday. "The head of Armenia [i.e. PM Nikol Pashinyan] did not want to open the brackets [in this regard]. I will also refrain from comments," added Shahramanyan. He said that at the initial phase he was able to establish contact and talk with the Artsakh military-political leadership which was also taken hostage. Also, Shahramanyan called to clarify the recent statements by Pashinyan about the former minister of state of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, and to speak openly with the public.
