A photo exhibition dedicated to the International Day of the Disappeared, which is marked on August 30, opened Thursday in Vanadzor, Armenia. The exhibition, which was organized by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), presents 14 photos, each about a family experiencing the tragedy of the disappearance of a son, father, and husband as a result of Azerbaijan's military aggression in 2020-23. These photos are accompanied by a short description. Mothers, wives, children, and grandchildren of these missing Armenians describe their feelings and expectations. And for many of them, the loss of a loved one is connected also with the loss of their home in Nagorno-Karabakh. Such an exhibition was held last year also. According to ICRC data, since the beginning of the conflict, about 1,000 people have gone missing on the Armenian side.
