News - Artsakh Defense Army: Ongoing fighting along the contact line with fluctuating intensity

Fighting continues along the contact line of Nagorno Karabakh with varying degrees of intensity. As reported by the Artsakh Defense Army, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are employing a range of weaponry to maintain their positional advance while also targeting civilian infrastructure. Despite these challenges, the Defense Army units are displaying determined resistance. Earlier, NEWS.am reported that Azerbaijan's Armed Forces initiated the use of artillery along the entire line of contact in Nagorno Karabakh as of 1 p.m. on September 19, attempting to breach the defense line of the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Forces. Currently, Stepanakert, the capital of Nagorno Karabakh, and other settlements are under heavy shelling. Gegham Stepanyan, the Human Rights Defender of Nagorno Karabakh, has reported multiple casualties and injuries among civilians, including children.
