With its actions in the Kursk Region of Russia, Ukraine is attempting to improve its negotiating positions in the future, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting. "The situation in the region shows why the Kiev regime rejected the peace proposals of Moscow and mediators. Kiev's [current] actions in the Kursk Region [of Russia's] pursue a military objective: to stop the advance of Russian troops," the Russian president added, reports RIA Novosti. Putin assured that Russia's enemy will receive a deserving response.
