Hurricane Debby, which battered the East Coast of the United States, on Monday washed onto the Florida coast 25 packages of cocaine weighing more than 30 kilograms and worth more than a million dollars, informed Samuel Briggs, head of the US Border Patrol. “Hurricane Debby blew 25 packages of cocaine (70 lbs.) onto a beach in the Florida Keys. Good Samaritan discovered the drugs & contacted authorities. U.S. Border Patrol seized the drugs, which have a street value of over $1 million dollars,” Briggs wrote on X—formerly Twitter.
