He added that the production of ground equipment and modern missile systems with long ranges is on the agenda. He also emphasized that the Iranian army's air defense forces unit is updating and preparing itself and increasing its power in various fields, including drones, radars and information gathering systems. He said a large amount of equipment is ready to enter the combat unit of the air defense forces and a ceremony to join the new equipment may be held during the Air Defense Week. "We are 100 percent self-sufficient, we are not dependent on foreign equipment and the security of our air borders does not depend on foreign countries," the Iranian general said.
