Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Major General Hossein Salami, expressed his condolences over the death of Milad Bedi, an Iranian military adviser who was killed in a recent airstrike by Israeli fighter jets in Beirut, Tasnim reports. "I express my condolences to the family and friends of Milad Bedi, Iran's military adviser in Syria and Lebanon, who died a martyr's death during the Zionist regime's (Israeli) terrorist airstrike in Beirut," said Salami's statement. On Tuesday evening, the Israeli army announced an attack on Beirut, then confirmed that Hezbollah's senior commander Sayyed Fouad Ali Shokr was killed as a result of this targeted operation. According to the Israeli military, Shokr was the right-hand man of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and was responsible for strategic matters of the movement's military organization, including missile weapons. On Wednesday, SNN reported that Iranian military adviser Milad Bedi was among those killed along with Shokr.
