A caravan of migrants, which includes more than 3,000 people mostly from Central American countries, is moving from Tapachula city in the southeastern Mexican state of Chiapas to the border with the United States. Early Tuesday morning, these migrants left from Tapachula’s Bicentenario Park, where whole families—women and children—live in shacks, reports Milenio. These migrants have refused the procedure to legalize their status in Mexico. Most of them attempt to reach the northern border of the country, after which they plan to attempt to enter the United States.
