News - Armenia official: Several important projects are being implemented together with UN (PHOTOS)

Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan received the recently appointed United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Francoise Jacob, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Sanosyan emphasized that a number of important projects are being implemented in Armenia together with the UN, and expressed hope that this cooperation will be continued. Jacob, for her part, underscored the work being done especially toward disaster risk reduction in Armenia, stressing that this will be their main direction in the near future. The development of community infrastructure in Armenia also was discussed during the meeting. Minister The existing problems in Armenia’s water systems, especially at the community level, were also highlighted. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of implementing projects in the border communities of Armenia as well. Some other matters were discussed, too.
