Magnitude 3.5 earthquake hits Armenia

On July 15 at 10:52 local time (06:52 GMT), the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of RA Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded an earthquake at geographical coordinates 39.27⁰ N and 46.10⁰ E, Armenia-Nakhchivan border zone, 14 km to the north from Kajaran city, an earthquake with magnitude 3.5 at a depth of 10 km.The intensity of the earthquake in the epicentral zone was 4-5 MSK.The earthquake with magnitude 4 was felt in the towns of Agarak, Meghri, Kajaran, and Kapan in Syunik region.
