U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone, referring to the July 10 meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan and U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Washington, stressed that the United States should support Armenia's sovereignty and defense. The congressman wrote about it on his microblog X, adding that he was happy to see Anthony Blinken working to establish peace between Yerevan and Baku. "I'm glad Secretary Blinken is working toward peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but these conversations are meaningless unless there are real consequences for Azerbaijan's ongoing aggression and repeated human rights abuses. State Department must support Armenia's sovereignty and defense," he wrote.
