Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with US presidential candidate Donald Trump at his residence in Florida. Orban announced this on social network X on the night of July 12. "Peace mission 5.0 It was an honor to visit President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago today. We discussed ways to make peace. The good news of the day: he’s going to solve it!" wrote the Hungarian Prime Minister. Donald Trump, via his Truth social media account, thanked Orban for the meeting. "Thank you Viktor. There must be PEACE, and quickly. Too many people have died in a war that should have never started! DJT," Trump wrote. Orban's spokesman called Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence "the next stop on the peacekeeping mission" of the Hungarian prime minister, Reuters writes. According to the spokesman, Orban and Trump discussed "the possibilities of peace."
