Aimee Betro, 44, a suspected hit-woman being hunted by the UK police investigating an assassination attempt has been taken into custody in Armenia, reports the BBC. She is wanted by West Midlands Police in connection with the attempted shooting of a businessman outside his home in South Yardley, Birmingham, in September 2019. The Armenian police reported that Betro, who was wanted by law enforcement agencies in the UK on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and illegal possession of a firearm, was found in Proshyan village of Armenia. Detention was chosen as a preventive measure against her.
